Hello TPS peeps :)

Sorry I have been away from the site for a little while. I have had several issues to deal with lately including my computer being hacked,ALL person files being deleted and my entire system set back to default windows 10 settings. The computer issues are another story but needed to be mentioned since I couldn't use my computer programs or get online for awhile.

The reason for this blog is to update issues we have been having with our weather here in Central Oregon. I am just going to go ahead and name this entire winter since it started snowing...Snowmageddon!!! Our first snow dump was documented in a video post by me here on the site. There is followup information posted in the comment section of that post.

Geoengineering and Snow, Bend, Oregon

We had record cold temperatures falling below zero and temps rarely got above freezing. We had a day or two where things melted enough for over a foot of packed ice and snow to slid off of roofs and block doors and pathways to the barn. We still had a foot of snow left on the ground when the next snow dump came and then another. There are record amounts of snow piled up in Bend currently and people are running out of room to put snow during snow removal. Some rural areas such as Juniper acres (very close to where I am living) are completely snowed in and unable to leave their homes for supplies, food or water for them or their animals. My job is a caretaker for a ranch. Part of that includes snow removal, so I have been very busy, not only with ranch snow removal, but also helping out neighbors without snow removal equipment who were stranded at their homes. I currently have no water due to frozen pipes and leaks. The water had to be shut off to the barn where mini horse, pigs and cats shelter, eat and drink water. I am currently hauling 5 gallon buckets of water for animals twice a day in addition to what I need personally for me and my pets from the owner's house, which is currently the only building on the property with running water. The property owner is out of town until the end of the month which leaves me with a lot of work to do in order to keep things running on the ranch by myself when she's gone.

I will post a few news story links below regarding things I mentioned above for interested people to check out.

I have some personal footage of things here on the ranch that I will post in the comments later when I have a little more time to upload, edit and post to my youtube channel.

Sorry to worry anyone with my absence, although I thank you for your concern and thinking of me :)

I will have more time to be online when things calm down a bit here weather wise. For now, I will pop in when I can.

Record Snow Storm, Portland Oregon. 1/11/17

The weather report called for 1-4 inches of snow, instead, it was 8-15 inches, depending on area of the city, and the elevation. I got about 8-9 inches. Of snow. The news shows the driving nightmare.. people stranded for up to 12 hrs., and random acts of kindness. Our third snow storm in 3 weeks, and we've had 2 ice storms.. a rare event here. But, the crime rate has been drastically reduced.

Thanks for the tour, what a lot of work and a few animals dependent on you every day. I have had enough ice and snow for two lifetimes this year. I will never forget this winter and I bet you won't either.

The snow may be a mess to clean up but it sure is beautiful!

I was finally able to get some time to put footage I took during the storms together in a video.

The following video shows some of the ways Snowmageddon affected us here on the ranch.

and for the prettier side of Snowmageddon see this video :)

and before that...the following video shows photos I took of the start of it all...the first major snow dump!

HOW good to hear your almost back to normal. You probably had thoughts like if it does not kill you it will make you stronger in the last few storms. I can't wait to see your pictures.

Good to see you aren't completely frozen out there and making headway with all your chores.

Thinking of you often and prayers are still coming your way!

I have finally gotten all the repairs done that were caused from the last couple of successive snow storms here in central Oregon. The frozen septic line, frozen water pipes, leaks , frozen animal waterers and massive amounts of snow removal have kept me very busy. We had a few days of close to 40's temps (heat wave!!!) which helped thaw things out so repairs could be made. I am still trying to work things out with my computer since the last hack, but I have some footage of the weather conditions that I will post when I have time.

It started snowing here again today, but it's supposed to be in the 40's this weekend, so hopefully we will get some more melt of existing snow and ice before being pelted with the next storm.

I feel really sorry that you guys are having such a rough time out there this year.  We are still in the 40's - almost 60 here and freezing at night.  Crazy, crazy weather we are experiencing!

Faith I also live in ID in the central panhandle  and it has been a miserable winter so far. What Joy is going through is terrible and I know she is overwhelmed.
