in regards to it. Russia has decided that GMOs are just not for them or for their people. In April, the Russian parliament created a bill which would ban GMO plants and animals unless it was for approved cases.
If you want to import GMOs into Russia, you need to register with the state first. The Russians are pretty confident that GMOs aren’t good for their people or for the environment.

Basically this means that a country whose leader frequently frolics shirtless in cold fly fishing streams drinking miller lights has a more evolved health infrastructure than the United States. A country who frequently funds terrorist groups and regimes who commit genocide is now taking better care of their own people’s health than we are. It’s pretty sad when a country that’s mostly covered with ice eight months a year can’t be bought by Monsanto, yet we can.
When will the United States get serious with this stuff?
